Coronary artery disease (CAD) remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. 1 A precise assessment and characterization of the extent and nature of CAD are essential to guide both diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. For over half a century, invasive coronary angiography has served as a cornerstone diagnostic modality in cardiology and has been considered the gold standard to inform decisions on coronary revascularization. 2 , 3 By providing high-resolution visualization of coronary artery luminal anatomy, it offers critical insights into the severity, location, and morphology of stenotic lesions.
