This paper discusses the path and practice of modern Chinese curriculum reform in colleges and universities from the perspective of new liberal arts. By analyzing the challenges faced by the modern Chinese curriculum, the corresponding reform paths are proposed, including updating the teaching content and integrating the perspective of emerging language research. Innovate teaching methods to enhance interactivity and practice; Improve the evaluation system and pay attention to the comprehensive quality evaluation; Adjust the training program and blur the boundaries between theory and practice.
