Le résumé fourni par la source
Grounded in the algorithm acceptance model, this study investigates the effects of algorithm transparency and customer control on customers’ interactive experiences, while also examining the empirically tested mediating roles of personal agency and customer trust. Based on survey data from 363 customers of online travel and hospitality platforms in China, the study finds that greater algorithm transparency and enhanced customer control significantly and positively affect both personal agency and customer trust, ultimately improving the overall interactive experience. By integrating agency and trust into the model, this research extends theoretical understanding of algorithmic influence in tourism contexts and offers practical implications for optimizing AI-driven service design in travel and hospitality.
