Le résumé fourni par la source

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)is a common respiratory condition that significantly impacts patients' quality of life and imposes a heavy burden on both patients and their families. While significant scientific progress is being made, COPD patients face serious challenges in their daily lives. Taking early intervention is crucial to improve their health status. In recent years, pulmonary rehabilitation has become an important component of COPD treatment, especially in home-based rehabilitation, which has gained widespread application. Compared with hospital-based treatment, home-based pulmonary rehabilitation not only enhances the quality of life for patients but also effectively slows disease progression. This paper reviews relevant domestic and international studies to summarize the application progress of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in home-based pulmonary rehabilitation for COPD patients. The research indicates that the integrative approaches, combining core interventions such as exercise training and breathing training from Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine practices like Qi Gong and manual therapies, has shown significant effects in improving lung function, enhancing exercise endurance, and alleviating clinical symptoms. Moreover, the application of home-based pulmonary rehabilitation offers advantages in improving patient adherence and enhancing rehabilitation outcomes. However, current research faces challenges such as a lack of theoretical guidance and limited systematic application. Future studies should further explore the optimal approach for integrative treatment in pulmonary rehabilitation, and conduct more clinical research to validate its universality and safety in home-based COPD rehabilitation, ultimately providing more effective treatment options for patients.
