Le résumé fourni par la source
This article presents a novel high-power density power generation system (PGS) for more electric aircraft (MEA). The proposed PGS incorporates an open winding permanent magnet synchronous generator (OW-PMSG) as its primary power source. A six-leg voltage source rectifier (VSR) and a six-leg current source rectifier (CSR) suited for the OW-PMSG are employed to regulate the high-voltage dc bus (HVDC-BUS) and low-voltage dc bus (LVDC-BUS), respectively. Due to the step-down characteristic of the CSR, this innovative PGS eliminates the requirement for an external dc–dc converter between the HVDC-BUS and the LVDC-BUS, resulting in a substantial improvement in power density compared to traditional systems. Additionally, a novel fault-tolerant control strategy is proposed to ensure the stable operation of the PGS system in the event of an open-circuit fault, thereby enhancing the system’s reliability. Finally, the improvements in power density and power loss of the proposed PGS, as well as the feasibility of the control strategy for the PGS, have been validated through simulation and experimental results.
