Résumé fourni par la source

The Function-Behavior-Structure (FBS) model is an optimal model for delineating the product concept design process and is currently extensively utilized in the domain of design. The development of smart home systems has expanded the field of design, and the design process itself has become more complex and diverse. It is not feasible to rely on a single FBS model to guide the complex design process. This study collates pertinent research on the FBS model in the context of smart home systems. It analyses the research objectives, research methods, target groups and other key research content in this literature in order to classify and summaries the application of the FBS model. The study identified two key areas for improvement to the FBS model: (1) the introduction of user demand levels; and (2) the transformation of changing needs at any time. These two aspects can be addressed through a range of common methods and means. This study offers valuable insights for enhancing and applying the FBS model.
