Technological advancements in medical care, particularly wearable health monitoring devices, have revolutionized cardiovascular disease management. Wearable devices, incorporating sensors such as pressure, photoelectric, and ultrasound sensors, facilitate real-time physiological monitoring. Telemedicine, classified into live communication and store-and-forward techniques, enables remote healthcare access, allowing physicians to monitor patients efficiently. The development of mobile applications and smartwatches for heart rate classification and electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis has enhanced patient autonomy in managing cardiovascular health. Modern devices, including ambulatory blood pressure monitors, improve diagnostic accuracy. Among sensor types, pressure sensors demonstrate the highest accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity for radial pulse wave detection. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical devices enables real-time classification of health metrics, aiding in early disease detection. The continuous evolution of medical technology aims to enhance noninvasive monitoring capabilities, reducing hospital visits while improving patient outcomes.
