Colibacillosis is one of the main constraints to the development of modern poultry farming in the peri-urban area of Bamako. The objective of this study was to determine the resistance profile of Escherichia coli strains isolated in modern poultry farms in the peri-urban area of Bamako. It involved the analysis of 420 samples (50 organs and 370 swabs). The work revealed 25 positive samples of Escherichia coli. The determination of the antibiotic resistance profile of Escherichia coli strains in agar medium yielded resistance rates to amoxicillin (48%), imipenem (56%) and ciprofloxacin (21.76%), kanamycin 19.08% and gentamycin 24.27%. Thus, this study made it possible to highlight multi-resistant strains of Escherichia coli to antibiotics isolated in modern poultry farms in the peri-urban area of Bamako.
