EVALUATION OF THE RESIDUAL PENETRATION CAPABILITY OF RIFLE PROJECTILES ON TARGETS BEHIND MASONARY BASED ON EXPERIMENTS
Le résumé fourni par la source
To evaluate the residual penetration capability, an evaluation of the post-penetration residual penetration ability of seven typical projectiles through masonry is conducted. An evaluation index system structure model, encompassing power, ballistic performance, and shooting accuracy, is established. Utilizing test data, the index weight coefficients are ascertained through the grey comprehensive analysis method, and the final ranking is derived from a comprehensive evaluation using the grey weighted correlation degree. The findings indicate that this approach is viable, and the evaluation results for the residual penetration ability of seven rifle projectiles after penetrating masonry (autoclaved aerated concrete block,3.5MPa) are as follows:7.62x54 R armor-piercing incendiary projectiles > small-caliber armorpiercing projectiles >7.62x51 armor-piercing projectiles >7.62x51 ordinary projectiles > small-caliber ordinary projectiles >5.56 mm armor-piercing projectiles >7.62x54 R ordinary projectiles. This methodology offers an innovative approach for evaluating the combat effectiveness of rifle projectiles against targets located behind masonry, and it serves as a reference for the combat effectiveness evaluation and design of rifle projectiles.
