The presented article discusses the Federal Law of 28.12.2024 N 514-FZ "On Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation", which supplemented Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation with the note "Note. This article does not apply to cases of medical care provided by medical workers." This means that from 08.01.2025, the day of entry into force of Federal Law-514, a medical worker when providing medical care cannot be subject to criminal liability for the provision of services (work) that do not meet safety requirements. Data on the criminal prosecution of doctors in the Russian Federation is presented.
