ABSTRACT In this study, discharge plasma is employed to convert water droplets and air into nitrogen compounds at atmospheric pressure. Our results demonstrate that product distribution in the liquid phase can be effectively varied by adjusting water droplet size and content, significantly impacting the distribution of NO − 2 NO − 3 and NH + 4 and emission intensity of H α , H β , NH. This finding provides valuable insights and recommendations for advancing gas‐liquid discharge‐based nitrogen fixation. With smaller droplet sizes (<120 μm), a yield rate of 380 μg/min for NO − 3 , and 30 μg/min for NH + 4 can be achieved. Maintaining a constant droplet size but lowering the water concentration (0.54 in this study) optimized the yields of both NO − 3 and NH + 4 .
