Analysis of Advanced FET based Biosensor for Label Free Detection
Le résumé fourni par la source
For the next generation of biosensors, the field-effect transistor (FET) is seen to be the most viable option by taking use of label-free, simple to use, affordable and facile integration, With the development of FET based biosensors, researchers trying to improve the sensitivity and design principles for advancement in technology and device engineering. For real-time analysis and characterization, FET biosensors provide significant benefits because of the high sensitivity and high selectivity of their sensor elements. In this review paper, various structures of biosensors have been developed and reported, depending on their application. This review paper archives the basic concepts, working and structure of various biosensors. FET-based label-free detection systems are utilized to transform biological occurrences into electrical signals through the identification of biomolecules. Biomolecules which are included in the biological events identified by gating effect and dielectric modulation. The ON/OFF current, sensitivity, and other characteristics of field-effect transistor (FET) biosensors are investigated. These biosensors include nanowire, heterojunction and tunnel FET systems.
