Résumé fourni par la source

Understanding drivers’ satisfaction with vehicle automation reveals attitudes toward its use and facilitates the broader adoption of this innovative technology. This study developed a questionnaire to investigate the factors influencing drivers’ satisfaction across three automation levels (L1, L2, and L3). A total of 600 vehicle automation drivers completed an online survey. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling was applied separately to each automation level, and multi-group analysis was used to compare the results across the three levels. The results indicate that operating environment, human–computer interaction, consumer innovativeness, trust, and expectation impact overall satisfaction among vehicle automation drivers, with variations across automation levels. Additionally, drivers satisfied with vehicle automation are more likely to repurchase and recommend it to others. Measuring drivers’ satisfaction with vehicle automation and identifying the influencing factors provide valuable insights into their attitudes, supporting the understanding and acceptance of this technology.
