Comprehensive Evaluation Index System and Method for the Construction of Rotary Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Transmission Lines

Heavy-duty rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) show significant potential for use in transmission line construction. However, current assessments of these UAVs primarily concentrate on their individual performance and do not offer a thorough and scientific evaluation approach. This paper presents a comprehensive evaluation index system tailored for the use of heavy-duty rotor UAVs in mountainous regions, taking into account the current state of UAV technology and the realities of transmission line construction. It introduces two scoring methods—trapezoidal function and Boolean function—based on expert evaluations, and assigns corresponding weights to various indicators. This framework serves as a foundational method for the comprehensive assessment of heavy-duty rotor UAVs in mountain transmission line projects.
