Résumé fourni par la source

This paper presents an experimental study using a Fresnel lens with preheater water to increase the daily fresh water productivity of a conventional single-slope solar still. The traditional single-slope solar still system was equipped with a Fresnel lens with a preheater and the sun's rays were manually tracked during the experiment period while maintaining fixed the depth of the water inside the basin at a height of (1) cm during the study. It was observed that the yield of distillates of the improved basin was higher than that of the conventional one, and the improvement ratio of the solar distillate with the preheater unit was (30.13%) compared with the traditional single-slope solar still.
