Le résumé fourni par la source

Optimal placement of viscous dampers is essential for enhancing the seismic performance of high-rise buildings. In this study, we propose a target-oriented krill herd algorithm with a dynamic search mechanism (DTOKH) to optimize the placement of viscous dampers in high-rise buildings under seismic loads. The main improvement of the original target-oriented krill herd (TOKH) algorithm is the incorporation of a dynamic search mechanism. This mechanism adaptively adjusts the population’s inertia weight according to the structural dynamic response, effectively balancing global exploration and local exploitation. Performance of the proposed algorithm is illustrated through three high-rise building examples, with the inter-story drift angle used as a key seismic performance indicator. Results show that the maximum inter-story drift angle of the DTOKH scheme is reduced by 30.37%–75.68% compared with the uncontrolled scheme. Furthermore, the DTOKH outperforms both the TOKH and other methods reported in the literature. These findings highlight the significant potential of the DTOKH algorithm as an effective tool for optimizing damper placement in high-rise buildings.
