Aspects of Microscopic Slides Automated Image Processing in Cytogenetic Analysis of Radiotherapy Effects

This paper considers the main stages of automated processing of digital images of micropreparations for chromosomal analysis. The structure of the modern biomedical digital microscopy system is also proposed. The methods of processing and analyzing images of cytological micropreparations were tested. Conclusions were made regarding the diagnostic significance and informativeness of cytohistological research methods, and requirements for digital microscopy systems and prospects for their improvement were determined.
