Le résumé fourni par la source

Inspired by the traditional non-convex tube and the cross-sectional microstructure of bamboo, a vertex-based hierarchical non-convex dodecagonal multicellular tube (HNCDM) is constructed, and its crashworthiness is studied through a combination of quasi-static compression test, numerical simulation, and theoretical analysis. Firstly, the crashworthiness of HNCDM is compared with that of non-convex dodecagonal tube (NCD) and non-convex dodecagonal multicellular tube (NCDM) under the conditions of equal wall thickness, equal mass, and equal energy absorption. The results indicate that, compared to NCD and NCDM, HNCDM exhibits significantly higher specific energy absorption (SEA) and crushing force efficiency (CFE) under the three conditions. Subsequently, to further investigate the crashworthiness of HNCDM, the effects of structural parameters on crashworthiness are analyzed and discussed. Finally, a theoretical expression for the mean crushing force (Fm) of HNCDM is derived, and theoretical predictions align well with numerical results. This study provides a novel and promising approach for designing tubular structures with enhanced crashworthiness by combining non-convex tube and hierarchical design.
