Enhancing the quality of vocational education talents from a fiscal perspective: A case study of Jiangsu province

Due to substantial progresses in industrial development, evolution, and the recalibration of talent demand structures, China&s;s vocational education talent training harness its growing strengths in promoting the advancement of vocational education. The article takes this burgeoning and rapidly expanding form of education in Jiangsu Province as an example. By analyzing relevant policy texts, it is concluded that there are still problems in vocational education such as more serious financial tilts, uneven financial allocations, and non-transparent information disclosure in institutions. The aforementioned issues have led to a divergence in the quality of talent cultivation, which in turn has impeded the modernization and advancement of vocational education in China. For this reason, this article primarily employs data analysis and policy text analysis method for research and to solve the above problems from the financial point of view. It puts forward the optimization of the vocational education environment. It proposes optimization recommendations for various facets. These aspects include a hierarchical and comprehensive system, sound financial guarantee mechanisms, suitable financial resources, specialized supervisory bodies for vocational education, and more. It is anticipated that vocational education will advance the caliber of talent development and steer the field&s;s development in a more positive direction.
