Le résumé fourni par la source

In this paper, we aim to represent different ground textures using a device that presents vibration stimuli to the hand of a walking stick. This device can be attached more easily than the method of presenting vibration to the sole of the foot, and a synergistic effect can be expected by having the user perceive ground sensations from both the hand and the foot. In order to reproduce various ground sensations using this device, we will focus on the viscosity that is perceived, and aim to express changes in perceived viscosity. To this end, we verified the relationship between the frequency of the vibration and the viscosity of the perceived ground sensation by having the participants evaluate the perceived viscosity and comparing the results. The result showed that the viscosity was most strongly perceived at 150Hz.
