Le résumé fourni par la source
We constructed a simple genotyping method combining multiplex allele-specific PCR and DNA chromatography for Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium and its monophasic variant. The developed method can be used to estimate the genetic background of isolates, and it facilitates easy identification of several epidemic clades among these serotypes. • A simple genotyping tool was developed by combining multiplex PCR and DNA chromatography. • This tool is useful for estimating the genetic background of Salmonella Typhimurium/4,[5],12:i:- isolates. • Each isolate can be identified as one of the nine genotypes within two hours.
