Le résumé fourni par la source
In this study, La, Ce-Mn series rare earth composite oxides were synthesized and characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis spectroscopy, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The degradation efficiency of these composite oxides on Congo red dye was investigated. Experimental results indicated that Ce-Mn and La+Ce-Mn composite oxides exhibited excellent catalytic activation of potassium peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for the degradation of Congo red dye, achieving a degradation efficiency of over 99%. The high efficiency of the composite oxides was primarily attributed to the active species, with the main contributor being electron holes (h+), followed by superoxide radicals (ЬO2-) and hydroxyl radicals (ЬOH). These active species play a crucial role in the oxidative degradation of organic pollutants.
