Le résumé fourni par la source

One of the greatest challenges of the 21st century is to protect our control, regulation and data storage units used in automated, robotic manufacturing from the consequences of electrical power disturbances. However, for prevention, it is essential to accurately identify the causes of these often-stochastic failures. It is often difficult to detect the fault phenomenon itself since it frequently can’t be explained by the classical approach. Most often, the cause of momentary, short-term outages is identified as a voltage failure in the internal electrical network of the power utility or industrial installation, which can be a wrong conclusion. One of the possible causes of intangible voltage sags may be the presence of harmful electrical grid harmonics. Potential sources of harmonic disturbances are electronic power controls, LED light sources, various speed controls for electric motors, and charging equipment for the increasingly popular electric vehicles. Problems caused by harmonics are generally: distortion of power supply waveforms, resonance risks in systems at high frequencies, failure of sensitive electronics, PLC and CNC devices, malfunctions in protection and control systems, overheating in electric motors and transformers.
