The influence of natural gas pressure energy (NGPE) on carbon emissions and operating overhead of micro-energy grid (MEG) are clearly studied in this paper. Firstly, it proposes a multi-energy coupling microgrid architecture that incorporates NGPE. Subsequently, the study analyzes the power generation and refrigeration output characteristics associated with this energy source. Next, the method of the life cycle assessment (LCA) is applied to analyze the actual carbon emissions from new energy equipment, specifically calculating those of photovoltaic units, wind turbine units, and expansion generator units. Finally, in order to build microgrids, the society is constantly optimizing low-carbon economic model and incorporating a step-type carbon emissions trading mechanism from the LCA. The model is primarily designed to minimize the daily operating overhead of the microgrid. Case analysis demonstrates that the operation model developed in this study reduces the total daily operating overhead by 22.73% and cuts carbon trading expenses by 38.9%. This confirms that integrating the LCA carbon trading mechanism (LCA CTM) and NGPE improves system carbon emissions while ensuring cost-effective operation.
