Le résumé fourni par la source

This study explores the complex interactions between chains and seabed soil as they affect the global behaviour of mooring systems. The coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method is adopted for large deformation finite element analysis. The mooring chain is modelled as discrete cylindrical rigid body elements connected by link connectors to form the complete mooring system. Comparison with previous studies reveals a strong correlation between the profile properties of the embedded chain and the relationship between tension and chain angle at the attachment point. The paper summarizes existing research on the factors affecting the interaction between chains and soil and investigates tension transmission in embedded mooring chains. The study demonstrates that the coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian method effectively analyzes tension at the mudline, the embedded line, and the connection point between the anchor and the mooring line.
