Endovascular interventions have enjoyed an explosive growth in the last two decades. It is likely that the impact of reimbursement for medical care will stimulate even more interest: adding new endovascular procedures that involve stents and stent grafts will supplant an additional 40–70% of traditional vascular surgeries. 1 All these treatments involve the use of catheters, balloons, wires, and imaging modalities, including digital subtraction angiography, road mapping and three-dimensional reconstruction. A variety of factors must therefore be considered when designing an endovascular surgical suite.
