Positive Psychology
Le résumé fourni par la source
Positive Psychology, first introduced in 1998 by psychologist Martin Seligman, is the scientific study of what makes people happy in life, with a focus on individual as well as societal well-being. One of the tenets of Positive Psychology is that times of uncertainty and transition may provide opportunities for personal growth and potentially even enhance well-being, and there are some studies that suggest this may be true during the aftermaths of COVID-19. Employing Positive Psychology as a theoretical framework, in this chapter we will review literature and theory that aims to identify potential factors that may help to protect and create feelings of well-being during pandemics like the COVID-19.
