Early Medieval India (750-1200 A.D.) witnessed the rise and fall of various major dynasties that contributed significantly to Indian history. The Pratihara, Rashtrakuta, Pala, Chalukya, Chola, Pallava, and Sen dynasties were prominent in this period. These dynasties not only struggled for political power but also brought about significant changes from cultural, religious and social perspectives. In North India, the Gurjar Pratiharas played an important role in stopping the Arab invaders, while in South India, the Chola dynasty gained fame for its naval power and administrative reforms. The Pala and Sen dynasties encouraged education and art in eastern India. This period clearly reflects the geographical and cultural diversity in Indian society, which tells the story of prosperity and conflict spread across different regions. Abstract in Hindi Language: पूर्व मध्यकालीन भारत (750-1200 ई.) में विभिन्न प्रमुख राजवंशों का उदय और पतन देखा गया, जिन्होंने भारतीय इतिहास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। इस कालखंड में प्रतिहार, राष्ट्रकूट, पाल, चालुक्य, चोल, पल्लव, और सेन राजवंश प्रमुख थे। ये राजवंश न केवल राजनीतिक शक्ति के लिए संघर्षरत थे, बल्कि सांस्कृतिक, धार्मिक और सामाजिक दृष्टिकोण से भी महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन लाए। उत्तर भारत में गुर्जर प्रतिहारों ने अरब आक्रमणकारियों को रोकने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, जबकि दक्षिण भारत में चोल वंश ने अपनी नौसैनिक शक्ति और प्रशासनिक सुधारों से विख्याति प्राप्त की। पाल और सेन राजवंशों ने पूर्वी भारत में शिक्षा और कला को प्रोत्साहित किया। इस अवधि में भारतीय समाज में भौगोलिक और सांस्कृतिक विविधता की स्पष्ट झलक मिलती है, जो विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में फैली समृद्धि और संघर्ष की कहानी बयां करती है। Keywords: पूर्व मध्यकालीन भारत, प्रमुख राजवंश, प्रतिहार, राष्ट्रकूट
