Oral pathology holds paramount importance in dental education, necessitating an interactive and engaging pedagogical approach.Technology offers a platform for interactive learning, thereby enhancing students' active participation in the educational process.Traditional methods in oral pathology education involved laborious laboratory procedures, such as the preparation, slicing, preservation, and staining of specimens for microscopic examination. 1 This conventional approach was time-consuming and labor-intensive.However, technological advancements have introduced the use of photomicrographs in university settings.Photomicrographs are photographs of microscopic objects captured through a microscope.This alternative approach is costeffective, timesaving, and allows convenient storage and viewing on electronic devices such as laptops or smartphones.Furthermore, these digital images can be easily shared via communication platforms such as WhatsApp and learning management systems such as Moodle, thereby facilitating guided learning experiences.Incorporation of technology in education has transformed various aspects of communication, learning, and teaching.Numerous studies
