METHODS: Patients who underwent ONB substitution more than 10 years back at Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura were included in the study unless they had a disease recurrence or missed follow-up. The outcome measures were long-term renal and voiding functions and assessment of the long-term complications. RESULTS: The median follow-up period was 180(142-263) months. Basal demographics described in Table 1. 126 (78.3%) underwent ileal w neobladder, while 35(21.7%) received Kock's pouch. Normal voiding was observed in 122(75.7%), while the remaining 39(24.2%) had high PVR and needed CIC (13 of them were females). Day-time and night-time continence were achieved in 144(89.4%) and 107 (66.5%), respectively. The eGFR was 77.8 ml/min (67.8-88.2) before surgery, while during the last follow-up it was 65.2 ml/min (46.6-83.4). Further long-term complications were analyzed. Table 2. CONCLUSIONS: ONB is considered currently the standard urinary diversion technique, when possible, with satisfactory outcomes in the long term.
