Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) is an emerging additive manufacturing process that utilises arc welding technology to fabricate complex metallic components straight from a computer-aided design (CAD) model. Due to its ability to quickly and efficiently generate large-scale components, this novel approach has shown significant potential in a variety of industries, including the aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors. To assure component dependability and performance, however, it is crucial to have a thorough understanding of the resulting microstructure and defects. The purpose of this study is to look into the microstructural properties and flaws in parts developed utilising wire arc additive manufacturing technology. In order to comprehend their effects on the microstructural evolution of the deposited material, a number of tests were carried out utilising various welding parameters and material compositions.
