Le résumé fourni par la source

Nanoparticles (NPs) can be considered as one of the best platforms with a strong therapeutic potential in the biomedical field. The appeal of NPs for researchers is primarily because of the unique architecture of these supramolecules and the associated possibilities of designing well-defined structures whose functional groups can participate in physicochemical processes. It is both meaningful and desirable to give them interesting features through camouflage with cellular membranes. This is a promising novel strategy for managing cancer at various levels from diagnosis to treatment. Many efforts have been made to fabricate cell membrane-coated NPs that mimic different functions of the primary cells to improve safety and therapeutic efficacy. Several types of cell membranes, including blood cells, cancer cells, immune cells, and stem cells were employed to camouflage NPs. Besides, the design and development of biomimetic NPs with the source cell membrane enhance the functional features in biomedicine applications. In this chapter, the most common cell membranes introduced for surface engineering of NPs will be addressed, while detailing their mechanisms along with highlighting their biomedical application in the dermal wound healing and melanoma cancer treatment.
