Le résumé fourni par la source
A silicon-based broadband stacked patch antenna with an air cavity using bulk silicon micromachining process is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of three layers of silicon with one layer etched to build an air cavity between the stacked patches, which has enhanced the bandwidth of the silicon-based patch antenna significantly. The measured results of the fabricated prototype show that the impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 23.44 ~ 30.06 GHz (24.7%), with a peak gain of 5.7 dBi at 28 GHz. This design is suitable for integrated phased arrays packaged with multiple ICs to enable applications such as 5G cellular systems and satellite communication.
