Résumé fourni par la source

Summary The digital revolution has enhanced the output of energy experts in ways we are still learning to adapt to. In an age where an all-of-the-above-approach is required for society to thrive in the energy transition, we are asking more of our energy teams to deliver quicker, with less resources available to them. The advent of secure digital collaboration platforms offers a solution to both energy companies seeking to enhance their inhouse talent and a global workforce that is embracing a flexible approach to work and how they wish to contribute toward the solution. However, for such solutions to thrive the constraints we have built into our existing model need to be released. Leveraging recent advances in cloud computing, ML and crowdsourcing communities of talent the traditional blockers to such approaches have been solved. Proprietary data can be securely shared. High spec processing capabilities are harnessed remotely. IP rights and confidentiality agreed upfront to protect output and ensure transparency and trust are core within the system. These new ways of working offer the energy sector opportunities to do more, explore exciting ideas, be open to inspiration where they may not expect it and embrace the fluid and exciting times ahead.
