Proposing a Natural Language Processing Approach to Detect Personal Meaning Organizations Linguistic Patterns

We propose a novel Natural Language Processing (NLP) classification system which will be trained with the transcriptions of Italian therapy sessions. Based on the analysis of individuals' use of morphological structures in their speech, i.e. the quantity and the quality of pronouns in their utterances, we will investigate whether the system can reliably identify the linguistic patterns that are characteristics of the different Personal Meaning Organizations theorized in Guidano's theory of the Self.
