This document contains Extended Data (supplementary material) to accompany the paper "Approaches to minimising the epidemiological impact of sources of systematic and random variation that may affect biochemistry assay data in UK Biobank". It includes details of the statistical approaches used to identify and correct for issues surrounding the measurement of a wide range of biochemistry markers in UK Biobank samples for all 500,000 participants. In particular, it focuses on the approaches used to correct for error caused by unexpected dilution of some samples and error caused by expected batch or drift effects and regression dilution.
