The objective of this data management plan (DMP) is to detail the plan for management of data generated and collected within the MONOCLE project. The DMP describes the data management life cycle for all datasets collected, processed and/or generated by the project. It covers • what data have been (and continue to be) collected, processed or generated • how data are handled during and after the project • who is considered as an owner of a data set and who it is shared with • how the sharing of the data within and outside the project is organised • what formats, meta data and standards the data adhere to • how data are curated and preserved MONOCLE data consist of a diverse range of types and formats and standardization of the data and data flows is one of the main project objectives.
