Le résumé fourni par la source
Coal/coke is used for the production of acetylene in the industry. However, in this reaction, the generation of CO2 is inevitable [1] . Contrary to the global trend of achieving carbon neutrality, many studies are being conducted to replace it [2] . In this study, toluene was converted to acetylene using a rotating arc plasma. Toluene injected a minimum of 44 g/Nm 3 to a maximum of 870 g/Nm 3 to treat a high concentration of toluene. The effects of reaction time, operation time, power, and toluene flow rate were investigated as experimental parameters. As a result of the experiment, C 2 H 2 and C 6 H 6 were the main products, and the maximum selectivity was 66% and 24%, respectively. The maximum toluene conversion was 76%, and the energy efficiency was 120 g/kWh.
