Abstract Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide. The amount of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in the blood of patients with gastric cancer was found to be higher than that of healthy controls (69.1 ng/ μ L vs. 34.8 ng/ μ L). Patients with cfDNA ≤ 50 ng/ μ L were found to have an increased overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PFS) than in patients with cfDNA > 50 ng/ μ L.
