Le résumé fourni par la source
Due to rapid urbanization process, the area and extent of green spaces are gradually decreasing. In the near future, a plan for the effective conservation of green space will be needed for Bhubaneswar city, because the increase of green spaces can mitigate the negative impact of urbanization. First the chapter examines the desirable environmental quality of the city from two aspects i.e current situation and greening indices. Second stakeholder analysis for land suitability, five suitability factors were taken by the method of weighted score and certainty score to generate suitability model. The analysis result revealed that highly suitability class with an area of 6415▒ha. (26%) of the total area and moderately suitable area of 2683▒ha (10%) of the total area has potential for development of Plantation, considering the environmental condition of the city. For the low suitability area (35%), attention should be given to arbour coverage rate.
