Le résumé fourni par la source

Relief wells are important seepage control measures to prevent seepage failures of levees. However, the efficiency of relief wells decreases with time due to blockage of well filter and screens. It is essential to take remedial measures to improve relief well performance for disaster prevention and mitigation function. This paper develops an ultrasonic plugging removal system which is suitable for dike relief well. The process of backward silting of the relief well is simulated in a large laboratory permeameter, and the self-developed ultrasonic equipment is used to remove the plug. The performance of the proposed ultrasonic technology is studied through the constant water head permeation test. The experimental results show that the proposed ultrasonic removal technology can significantly improve the drainage capacities of clogged relief wells in the sand confined aquifer foundation. The plugging degree of relief wells and performance of ultrasonic plugging increase with the decrease of confined aquifer sand density. The density of confined aquifer sand sample has a significant effect on the ultrasonic treatment time. The ultrasonic treatment time should be controlled within 60 min and 90 min for the confined aquifer sand density ρ = 1.45 g/cm3and ρ = 1.50 g/cm3, respectively.
