Development of a Virtual Conference Online Platform for Adaptive Learning

Information technologies ensure the adaptation of the educational process to the individual characteristics of students, relieve teachers from a number of time-consuming and often repetitive operations to provide educational information and manage knowledge. Activity of students independently studying large amounts of educational information increases by conducting classes using different online platforms. At the same time, the teacher's ability to manage the educational activity of students increases. Virtual and online educational platforms are becoming a huge industry. During online learning courses students watch lectures on video/in real time, take interactive tests, exchange files with the teacher, communicate with fellow students and teachers, receive assignments, and such exercises allow them a full immersion into the learning environment and constant improvement of knowledge, skills and abilities. The article discusses the concept of adaptive learning, analyzes the existing forms of implementing adaptive learning in higher education systems using online university platforms in Kazakhstan and Bulgaria. Analysis of the research in the field of online adaptive learning platforms showed that this concept requires a deep consideration and includes both the technical side of the issue and the pedagogical component.
