Les dépotoirs à tessons de Hout-Répit/Athribis et leur matériel inscrit: rapport préliminaire (mission 2019-2020)

EnglishThe archaeological excavations of the Eberhard Karls University, Tubingen, at Hut-Repit/Athribis in Upper Egypt unearthed an important number of ostraca and tituli in a dump zone to the west of the Repit temple. These inscribed sherds, mixed with all sorts of ceramics and small objects, were accumulated there by the sebakhin who, at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, destroyed the surrounding mud brick structures and used them for fertilizer. These thousands of texts are written mainly in demotic, but also in Greek, hieroglyphic, hieratic, Coptic and Arabic, and there are also figural ostraca. This article presents the first results of the archaeological work and the ceramological study and gives a selection of documents illustrating the different groups of ostraca francaisDans le cadre des travaux archeologiques conduits par l’Eberhard Karls Universitat de Tubingen a Hout-Repit/Athribis en Haute Egypte, la fouille d’une zone de depotoir situee a l’ouest du temple de la deesse Repit a mis au jour un important ensemble d’ostraca et de tituli. Ceux-ci, meles a toutes sortes de tessons de ceramique et de menus objets, avaient ete accumules a cet endroit par les sebakhin qui, a la fin du xixe s. ou au debut du xxe s., avaient detruit et exploite les structures en briques crues environnantes. Les milliers de textes exhumes sont ecrits principalement en demotique, mais aussi en grec, en hieroglyphes, hieratique, copte et arabe, on compte aussi des ostraca figures. Cet article presente les resultats preliminaires des travaux archeologiques et de l’etude de la ceramique, ainsi qu’un choix de documents qui illustrent ces differents ensembles
