Innovation enabling: automated documentation and moderation of brainstorming sessions in small groups

Using the term Innovation Enabling this paper introduces a holistic concept to support interdisciplinary teams in creative and innovative problem-solving tasks. The concept supports both facilitators and participants and is based on implicit interactions. A central element of the concept is the Awareness Pipeline. It is used to implement implicit interactions based on a sensor-actor approach on data acquisition of brainstorming sessions. For example, the support of facilitation, administration and automated documentation, are supposed to create added value to conventional brainstorming sessions.
