Résumé fourni par la source

Many instances crystallize Franco-Greek interactions and have profoundly marked the historical and cultural journey of modern Greece: Franco-Greek interactions are manifested in the 19th century mainly through the work of E. Delacroix and contemporary painters and in the twentieth century in historical events as the Restoration of the Republic in Greece. As R. Huyghe notes, in addition to Chateaubriand's statements, Hugo's poems, Delacroix's paintings, numerous poems, narratives, plays, paintings and lithographs, by more or less well-known authors, the element that reveals the intensity of Greek feelings, in all sections of the population, during the Greek Revolution, are the representations of Greek themes on utilitarian objects. There are multiple manifestations of a fertile dialogue within the framework of Franco-Greek relations. The historical links between two countries may be used as a useful resource in the framework of teaching foreign language and specifically French in Greece. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we will examine how, through an artistic and historical point of view, authentic material through paintings, narratives and utilitarian objects may be used in an effective educational process in languages, art and history. The integration of the linguistic, artistic and historical dimension in language learning seems to enhance the oral and written production performance in adult students. The overall performance was monitored and measured in terms of oral and written production performance of the students. There are indications that the interdisciplinary approach has a positive impact in the language learning in terms of involvement in written production in L2 and oral presentation skills in comparison to content based on strictly linguistic criteria.
