Le résumé fourni par la source
(Anesth Analg. 2020;131:850–856) Neuraxial labor analgesia (NLA) is a common and effective approach to pain relief during labor, but it is also associated with postdural puncture headache (PDPH). Epidural blood patch (EBP) placement is considered to be a more effective intervention for PDPH than conservative treatments. Yet, the incidence of PDPH and EBP is unclear because most studies assessing these incidence rates have been conducted at single institutions or academic medical centers. The aim of this study was to estimate the incidence of NLA, PDPH, and EBP among privately insured women in the United States.
