Le résumé fourni par la source

Biohydrogen is most commonly produced from biomass and is now considered as the versatile fuel of the future. It is an important key to a sustainable world power supply. Production of the hydrogen from the microbial or vegetal conversion of biomass is called biohydrogen. The major biomass used for the biohydrogen production include agricultural crops and their waste products, lignocellulosic products, food wastes, various microorganism and effluents produced in the human habitat. Biohydrogen from the biomass is generated by various routes, such as anaerobic/fermentation, photobiological, enzymatic and electrogenic mechanisms. Biohydrogen from different biomass is produced by many methods. These methods include direct biophotolysis, indirect bio photolysis, photo fermentation, dark fermentation, two stage process-integration of dark and photo fermentation and biocatalyzed electrolysis. The production of biohydrogen from the algal biomass has got much attention despite being in its early stage of development.
