Le résumé fourni par la source

Summary The Technical University of the North (UTN) was created in the decade of the 70s, to cover the needs of higher education in the north of the country. Like any public institution, its administrative functions depend on an extensive documentation management, which has been carried out empirically during its years of life, obtaining little measurable and satisfactory results. In today's world, tools, models and methodological designs are used that allow an efficient control and storage of information. The objective of the present investigation was to design a documentary management model aligned with the requirements of the university, which allows a better management and use of the documents, in order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations, their obtaining, recovery and use, generating benefits and competitive advantages. The exposed methodology has two variables, a quantitative one that collects information from different sources, by using different computer techniques, statistics or mathematics; and on the other hand, a more exploratory qualitative variable depends on the collection of verbal, behavioral or observation data. Data collection techniques were used, such as the survey, interview and observation; whose results determined the creation and validation of a document management model. It can be concluded that documents are the basis and starting point of an institution, its correct management empowers timely decision making, sharing knowledge and improving services. Keywords: Model, management, knowledge, information, documentary.
