Le résumé fourni par la source

In this chapter readers are coached through analyzing and editing interviews methodically to produce one or more final products that can genuinely improve approaches and outcomes for refugee and host communities. First, they are guided through choosing the right medium for their end products – from print, audio and video options to online projects, community exhibitions and street performances. We recall some of the very creative products that we have seen being produced from refugee oral histories across this book, looking at the editorial choices inherent in different media. Blank templates in the appendices enable readers to work through these analytical, editorial and creative processes for their own project. They are coached through the steps involved in concluding their project, including archiving, record-keeping and recognition of all contributors’ input. Finally, readers learn how to calculate and demonstrate in hard financial terms the equivalent added value and savings that their oral history project has achieved for communities and organizations. An appendiced template enables them to produce these figures for their own project, as an invaluable asset for future applications for jobs or funding.
