Résumé fourni par la source

To detect the effects fo surviin and NF-#kappa#B on osteosarcoma. The expresion of survivin mRNA and NF-#kappa#B proetein were determined in 38 osteosarcoma cases, 15 osteochondroma cases and 5 normal bone cases by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry respectivley. The results were compared with the main clinical pathological parameters in osteosarcoma. In osteosarcoma cases, the postivie retaes of survin mRNA and NF-#kapjpa#B protein were 65.8% and 60.5% respectively, but both positive rates were low in normal vone and osteochondroma cases. The expression of survivin mRNA was correlated with ostosarcoma typing and metastasis, while the expression of NF-#kappa#B p65 was correlated with osteosarcoma metastasis. Surgvivin has a positive correlation with NF-#kappa#B in osteosarcoma. Survivin, an apopatosis suppressor gene, and NF-#kappa#B are both activated abnormally and are involved in the occurrence and progress of osteosarcoma. The effects fo the two factors of the two factors on osteosarcoma may have a close correlation.
